Redirect URL Optional
Already set to a working default — only change it if you want customers to land on your own page after paying.
Step 4 — Automatic Payment Splits

Add Open Banking payments to any Shopify store — appears alongside Stripe and PayPal at checkout.
- In Shopify admin → Settings → Payments
- Click Add payment provider → search FireBuddy
- Click Configure → paste your API key above → Save
Tax Rates Optional
Not needed to take payments — set this up later. Enabled rates appear in the invoice tax dropdown.
Business Profile Optional
Not needed to take payments — details shown on invoices so clients know who they're paying.
Manual Bank Transfer Fallback
Show your bank details on payment pages so customers who can't complete Open Banking can pay by manual transfer. A unique reference is generated per payment so you know who sent what.
Reconciliation: if you're using a Fire account above and Fire's webhook is connected, inbound transfers matching the generated reference are auto-marked paid. Otherwise, mark them received manually from the payment activity page.
Email Templates
Create reusable email templates for sending invoices
No custom templates yet. The 4 built-in templates are always available.

Accountant Export
Download your books as files your accountant drops straight into QuickBooks (Settings → Import data), or a universal file for any accounting software.
🧾 Sales invoices → QuickBooks
One row per invoice line with customer, dates, net, VAT and total. Import via QuickBooks → Settings → Import data → Invoices.
👥 Customers → QuickBooks
Your client list (name, company, email) so invoices match the right customers on import. Import via Customers.
💸 Expenses → QuickBooks
Your tagged payouts as bills, mapped to the expense accounts you set in Integrations, with VAT split out. Import via Bills.
📊 Everything (universal)
All money in & out in one file + a VAT summary by rate. Works with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or a spreadsheet — your data, any tool.
How your accountant imports these into QuickBooks
- In QuickBooks Online, click the ⚙ Settings gear → Import data.
- Import Customers first (so invoices link to them), then Invoices, then Bills for expenses.
- Upload the matching file — QuickBooks shows a column-mapping step; the headers are already named to line up. Review and confirm.
- Prefer not to use QuickBooks? The master CSV has everything for any software or a manual review.
Bank Accounts
Import statements from AIB or any bank, categorise & explain every payment, and get one full view of all spending — your accountant sees it too.
Pick or add an account, then import a statement.

- It does NOT come from Fire — there's nothing to copy from Fire (or from us). Fire talks to FireBuddy behind the scenes; you never touch that.
- Your own website's developer creates it (one small page) and gives you the address to paste here.
- Optional: if your platform already knows when it's paid (it took the payment itself), leave this blank — payments still work. Set it only if you want us to tell your platform automatically.
